10.12.2014. BVI issue Certificate of Good Standings electronically

The British Virgin Islands Financial Services Commission is advising members of the financial services industry and the general public that from 8 December, 2014 Certificates of Good Standing produced by the Registry of Corporate Affairs will be delivered electronically. With Certificates of Good Standing being delivered electronically, customers locally and internationally, can now save time to receive this document. Electronic Certificates of Good Standing will bear the same security features as traditional hard copy certificates and users may authenticate any Certificate of Good Standing that they are presented with by using the certificate authentication service on the FSC’s website.

Beginning with 1 February, 2015, Certificates of Good Standing will be delivered electronically as the default.  Requests for traditional hard copy certificates will be charged additionally cost of $25.00 per certificate.
