| The Cyprus banks have registered sharp increase of deposits from abroad in April, mainly due to financial injections from Russia, Ukraine and other CIS countries. Deposits of residents of these states in banks of Cyprus have increased on 638 million euro in April and have reached as a whole 18 billions euro. Significant inflow of capital has been noted also from Greece. As a whole deposits in the Cyprus banks in April have increased on 1,43 billion euro - to 62,26 billions euro. According to the Central Bank, it testifies to trust to a banking system of Cyprus in the world. |
