Introducing financial service providers in New Zealand 15/04/10 | | Everyone who provides, or offers to provide, a financial service will be required to register as a Financial Service Provider according to The Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008. The start date for the new registration regime is 1 July 2010. There will be an implementation (transition) period to allow financial service providers time to register before registration becomes compulsory. Any business activity involving money now or for the future may be considered a financial service. | | |
