Hypo Investment Bank changes its name 20/01/10 | | On 17 December 2009 Hypo Investment Bank (Liechtenstein) AG was finally acquired by Valartis Group, Baar/ Switzerland. Valartis is a Swiss banking group listed on Zurich Stock Exchange having offices in Geneva, Zurich and Vienna. Due to Valartis' uniform marketing strategy, the bank institution was consequently renamed to Valartis Bank (Liechtenstein) AG the same day. The bank's former parent Vorarlberger Landes- und Hypothekenbank AG sold its stake. Now Valartis Group holds approx. 70% in the bank institution; 30% is held by the management and the employees of the bank. | | |
