The list of the competitive countries according to WEF 06/10/09 | | According to the results of the World economic forum there has been prepared the Report on global competitiveness for 2009-2010 according to which Switzerland has won the first place, the USA were lowered on the second place. Singapore, Sweden and Denmark were also included in the five of the first countries of the rating. European countries dominate in the top-10 (Finland, Germany and the Netherlands). The Great Britain was displaced downwards to 13th place. The Chinese National Republic continues to be in the lead among developing countries, having improved its position and has entered in top-30. Brazil and India have also improved their positions in the rating. Some countries of Asia like UAE, the Peoples Republic of China, Hong Kong, the Republic Korea, Taiwan and Japan, were fixed in top-20. Also among the leaders there are several countries of Latin America: Brazil, Costa Rica and Chile. | | |
